From the American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico Security Committee at Mexico City, I would like to sincerely thank Esaú M. Mendoza Hernández Eduardo Hernandez Ruiz & Luis Miguel Dena for their outstanding participation, as well as for sharing their deep experience, insights, and valuable contributions on an issue that is especially relevant in today’s environment.

I also thank the authorities Patricia Chávez Obregón, General Director of Cyber Investigations at "Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana de la CDMX" and Commissioner Nelson Sanabria, Attaché Secretary at POLICIA NACIONAL DE COLOMBIA for their presence during the presentation and delivery of the INTERPOL New Supply Chain Security Guide – 8th Edition 2025. Digital version can be viewed here: https://lnkd.in/ehbeButi

The message is clear: Supply Chain Security is no longer operational—it is now strategic, systemic, and cross‑border. Cargo theft, loss events, the exposure of transport operators and SMEs, and today’s geopolitical environment demand stronger governance, prevention, and shared responsibility across the entire supply chain.

👉 Key takeaways:

✅ Move toward strategic and preventive security

✅ Strengthen CTPAT, OEA, and ISO 28000

✅ Integrate GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance)

✅ Promote public‑private cooperation and responsible use of technology

At American Chamber of Commerce of Mexico we remain committed to driving dialogue and action to protect the flow of value and strengthen trust in international trade. Oscar Arias DSI, MGR Santiago Bolio
